Comer PGR T Track Drives
If you're interested in track drives, they fall under the Comer Industries PGR T series. Comer manufactures these for the tracked mobile construction and agricultural market. They come equipped with an internal parking brake to enhance safety and Comer offers a disconnection upon request. The purpose of the disconnection is to aid with towing the machine in the event of a hydraulic failure.
Comer PGR T drives are ideal for compact, tracked equipment, including compact track loaders.
Comer PGR W Wheel Drives
Comer's PGR W series are wheel drives intended for use on paving, forestry, and agricultural machines. Like the PGR T track drives, they include an internal parking brake and an optional disconnection. But, one of the distinguishing features of these final drive motors is the type of bearings they use. The PGR W series uses high-load tapered roller bearings that enhance their durability and performance.
Forestry, agricultural, construction, and paving equipment are often made with Comer wheel drives installed.
Comer PGF 18000 Series Excavator Drives
Keep in mind that Comer doesn't manufacture hydraulic motors for compact equipment For example, at ConExpo 2020, Comer introduced PGR 18000 series for 80 to 100-ton hydraulic excavators. Excavators this size are categorized as some of the largest excavators on the market. These large, powerful hydraulic drive motors are based on the same design concepts as the PGR W wheel drives just discussed above.
Comer also manufactures track drives for machines like the one above and larger.
