Basic Specifications of the Takeuchi TL8
The Takeuchi TL8 is a powerful CTL with a radial lift boom design. The engine is a Kubota / V3307-CR-Turbo capable of generating 74.3 hp and a maximum torque of 192 ft-lb at 1,500 rpm. Its operating weight is 8,631 lbs with a 6,020 lbs tipping load. Its rated operating capacity is 2,105 lbs (or 2,323 lbs with optional counterweights). The bucket breakout force is 6,856 lbs, with a lift arm breakout force of 6,709 lbs and a traction force of 9,127 lbs.

The track drive uses a final drive motor with a double reduction planetary system. This two-speed final drive travels at either 4.6 mph (low speed) or 6.8 mph (high speed). The parking brake is spring-applied, hydraulically released, and uses multiple wet friction disks. The track ground pressure is 4.5 psi
