Bosch Rexroth Hydraulic Motors

Bosch Rexroth organizes their hydraulic motors separately from the planetary gear sets.  Their extensive line of hydraulic motors includes axial piston motors, high torque radial piston motors, and planetary drives. Their product offerings for axial piston motors include both fixed and variable motors.

Rexroth MCR Series

Radial piston motors are found in the Bosch Rexroth MCR series. These are LSHT (Low Speed, High Torque) motors. Among those used in mobile equipment are these models:

• MCR-F is designed for use as a wheel drive and provides up to 10,000 ft-lbs
• MCR-W is for heavy-duty wheel drives and offers up to 6,300 ft-lbs
• MCR-C is for compact drives and provides up to 14,000 ft-lbs
• MCR-S is for chain drives and intended for use on skid-steer loaders, providing up to 2,100 ft-lbs
• MCR-T is designed for use as a track drive and offers up to 6,300 ft-lbs

Bosch Rexroth Planetary Drives

Their line of planetary drives for mobile hydraulics fall under the category of transmission units. Included with transmission units are planetary travel drives, slew drives, and winch drives. The planetary drives are divided into three main categories:

• GFT 8000, available with torque output between 7,375 ft-lbs and 95,800 ft-lbs
• GFT, available with torque output between 7,000 ft-lbs and 428,000 ft-lbs 
• GFT 2000, available with torque output between 10,000 ft-lbs and 31,000 ft-lbs

Note that all planetary drives include an integrated multiple disc brake.

Bosch Rexroth Planetary Gears 

• HYDROTRAC GFT 8000 series for tracked and wheeled vehicles and available with torque output between 5,163 ft-lbs and 95,800 ft-lbs
• HYDROTRAC GFT 8150 with TIS for wheel-driven harvesters with single-wheel drive vehicles and supplies a torque of 31,000 ft-lbs
• ROTOTRAC eGFT 8000 series for wheeled and tracked vehicles and available with torque output between 11,000 and 31,000 ft-lbs
• HYDROTRAC GFT Large series for tracked and wheeled vehicles and available with torque output between 11,800 and 45,700 ft-lbs

All of these travel gears are intended for use with tracked and wheeled vehicles, with the exception of the HYDROTRAC GFT 8150 TIS. This particular travel gear is designed for wheel-driven harvesters and single-wheel drive vehicles. Note that, as the name implies, the HYDROTRAC GFT Large is intended for much larger vehicles. Also, the ROTOTRAC eGFT is engineered for use with electric motors rather than hydraulic motors.
